The reel's waayyy too long in terms of industry standards. Try to shorten up the scenes. With demos you typically want to show more dramatic range, but it seems the *announcer* type voice is your bread and butter which is fine. You get surprisingly decent quality out of that snowball. It sounds a little like you're using Audacity noise removal though. Try other DAWs like Reaper (comes with an indefinite free trial).
Thanks for the advice! Most of these clips are just from finished game mods that have been streamed in some form to a large audience. If I make a new reel(focused on appealing to those looking for voice work here, animators etc), I'll change it up and see what I can work with.
I've heard Reaper is very good, so I'll give it a try!
Great reel! Shows decent range. A little on the longer side, but acceptable. Mixing's a little spotty in some places and jarring on the ears, but other wise alright! Keep it up!
At the beginning, just your name is fine, no introductions needed. Lots of background noise, try to record either in a better space or try to gate it out in post. Try to avoid adding effects onto your voice in post, it doesn't show what *you* can do as a voice actor necessarily. Your audio peaks wayyyy too fucking much, that's an *absolute* no go for most projects. Most people will stop listening as soon as they hear clipping. Try to keep the reel under 60 seconds. You've got a few similar character archetypes/voices, try to show more variation.
They are actually direct Rip's from the videos I have done. So the at its other voices are actually from the project maker themselves. As for the first voice that was with an older microphone before I got my brand new one. I'll keep what you said in mind however
